Ingredients:
-2 cups pear nectar, chilled (I had a suprisingly hard time finding this. Try Whole Foods or Food Lion…ya you heard me, Food Lion)
-2 cups sparkling apple cider, chilled
-2 cups seltzer, chilled (you can substitute club soda for the seltzer)
-4 ounces (1/2 cup) bourbon whiskey, such as Knob Creek
-1 pear, unpeeled, cored, and cut lengthwise into 8 wedges
Directions:
1) Stir together pear nectar, cider, seltzer, and whiskey in a pitcher.
2) Divide pear wedges among glasses, and pour in glass. Serve immediately or else the seltzer/soda will fizzle.
(note: the mini carafe was a mock-tail for our toddler guest. I eliminated the seltzer/soda because the apple cider has enough fizz in it for a kid!)
